The Weeping Lecturer

In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first

Perseverance indeed

Awo was only a teenager when his father died, he was living with his mother, who managed to see him through secondary school and tertiary institution. He remembered how difficult it was for his mother in raising him up. When he was in secondary school, his mother was always busy with her palm nuts or palm fruit and cashew nuts business. Awo also helped his mother to carry some of her goods to market for sale.

It was quite unfortunately, his rich
uncles were there looking at them, waiting eagerly for the day their corpses would be brought to them. Especially Uncle Jerry who was delirious with joy to see them gnash their teeth. He watched them toiling day and night, in the sun and rain.

At times, he bought Chicken pepper soup, sat in front of his house where Awo and his mother would see him, he watched them smoke garri with palm carnel while he blows whistle, or singing and enjoying his delicious Chicken pepper soup. At times, when he wants to irritate them the more, he called out his second wife to join him on the table of Sacrament. He may choose to feed her wife or allow her wife feed him in jollification. The annoying part was his creating awareness, "Uzunma come and join us oh," he teased Awo's mother. He derives joy mocking them.

Uncle Jerry did his worst, he never allows them access to their farm land, he took possession of everything left by her late husband.

Uzunma resorted to mourn her late husband everyday by visiting her late husband's grave every morning to cry on his grave.  This made her to feel her husband's presence most times, it was tedious task for her to shoulder Awo's responsibility without anything as source of financial support.

Due to her constant mourning her late husband, one day she saw her husband's apparition. It was very real and he said to her "just perseverance." it was a congenial atmosphere to work in and more strength came into her. She realized that working hard she must because she now knows that her husband's spirit is with her and the son. She was infused with her late husband's spirit.

After his graduation, Awo began to look for a job. What could be his fate if not the test of time. He dresses up  every morning carrying his credentials to roam the streets of Lagos in search of job vacancy.

Unfortunately, he returned one day to find her mother, "shilvering in this hot weather?" It was becoming worse than he could bear. He couldn't bear to see his mother die under his nose. Violently agitated and inturbulent, in insubordination he dashed out.

The first pharmaceutical shop he visited was owned by his late father's friend son, he ran into him, in rush, panting heavily with sore in his throat, "please my mother is dying, give me some drugs, I will pay you later," he said after describing her mother's ailment to him. The pharmacist was still reluctant as if he had said nothing. He started packing his scattered drugs. "you will give her malaria drug which will cure her instantly," said the pharmacist as he gestured at the shelf where the malaria drug was.

Awo didn't waste time, seeing his unwillingness to sell to him the drug on credit, he started to think on how to extract it from there. "my mother must not die," he thought.

Awo moved close to the shelf, aiming at the drug. He waited for a perfect opportunity to extract it, the pharmacist backed him, he ceased the opportunity to draw the pack and unfortunately, other ones fell down to his notice, "thief, thief, thief, "he raised alarm. There was boisterous cloud at the spot. Awo was grabbed by agitated people.

Tyre was set ablaze with fire which inflamed irritatingly, people passed judgement on him and sentenced him to death. Awo was thrown into the fire to be burnt, he cried as the fire hurts. Nobody was willing to listen to his plea for mercy.

Shortly, he got alart on his phone, people who seized his phone, saw the text message, it read;
"Mr Awo Kennedy, you are hereby informed of your employment as the production manager of Shell Nigeria Gas, come with duplicated copies of your credentials and curriculum vitae.
Signed management
Shell Nigeria Gas,
SNG
"poor young man, poor young man," they later pitied.

Uncle Jerry went to cut plantain from the plantain plantation that belonged to Awo's father. He didn't know when sharp cutlas he was using, backslided from the target and he sliced off his throat.

  4. You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I
find this topic to be really something that I think
I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me.
I'm looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!

Things you should expect when you connect with your spot

Get out of the rat race. After all, if you win, you will simply be the big rat. Stop running in the competition. The only person you should compete with is yourself. "how well am I performing in my leadership spot," is what you should ask yourself. You have to know that the battery does not compete with a spark plug, because the battery knows the spark plug can never be a battery, and so on. They sit in the engine in their spots and serve the engine their gift without competing

Why does negative behaviour continue?

It works. There is some kind of payoff, some type of momentary satisfaction that is derived from not changing. The reward might be financial or psychological. Some people will continue unproductive behaviour to seek approval, acceptance, praise, or love. Others continue their unacceptable actions out of pride, greed or a sense of personal fulfilment. They may oppress others with their need to always be right because they treasure being right- even if it destroys a relationship.

Adding value to other people is the work of a positive influencer

As you move up to the higher levels of influence and become an active influencer, you can begin to have a positive influence on people and add value on their lives. That's true for any positive influencer. The baby-sitter who reads to the child encourages him to love books and helps him become a lifelong learner. The teacher who puts his faith, confidence, and love on a child helps the child to feel valued and good about herself. That boss who delegates to the employees and gives them authority as well as responsibility enlarges their horizons and empowers them to become better workers and people. Even the parents who know how to give their children grace and when to, also help them to stay open and communicative. All of these people add lasting value to the lives of other people. One thing is this, we don't know what kind of influence you have on others, today as you read this article. Your actions may touch the lives of thousands of people. Perhaps you use the opportunity
