Susan abandoned her baby, even when her cousins asked her to go and bring her baby she refused. She starved little Emman for two days. She never bothered on how her son would survive. She left her heart at the back, her only thought was how to go back to her mother in the village.
Silas and Ikonne were her cousins but they loved her like their own kid sister. They never joked with her. Ononeme had waited for her return till he got tired. It was on the fourth day that Ononeme begged on his elder brother, Eze to intercede on his behalf. Eze agreed after apportioning blame on him.
Eze went to Silas' house with the company of Jonah their half brother. They seemed to be very sure that Susan was at Silas' house because that had been the only place she always ran to for refuge each time they had misunderstanding. Once they entered the house it was as if Silas and Ikonne were prepared for them. Silas bounced on Eze, Jonah managed to escape and left them to practice their acrobatic on Eze.
Unfortunately, Silas used his military boot on Eze's pennis and immediately, Jonah felt sudden darkness in his eyes and began to hallucinate. Then, he started imagining things like twinkling stars falling out of his eyes. He experienced hell that day as he fainted. The effect of the boot reacted on him like an overdose of barbiturates.
