The Weeping Lecturer

In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first

Steps to temperament adjustment

It appears that most problems that arise in most marriages are basically temperamental. Here are some steps to temperament adjustment:
  • Slam the divorce door
Easy divorce has done nothing to help the longevity of marriage. I found out that as long as the divorce door remains open,  it retards the adjustment to a happy marriage. If you are a Christian, it's not a legitimate option for you.
  • Admit to yourself that you are not perfect
we have to know that humility is the best possible base for establishing any relationship between two people. That is true particularly of marriage because the couple spends so much time together. True love for another person is built on humility.
  • Accept the fact that your partner has weaknesses
The sooner you face the fact that any one you marry will have weaknesses to which you must adjust, the sooner you can get to the business of adjusting to your partner.
  • Resist all mental fantasies
Mental fantasies of "if only I had married..." married who? Or saying "if only I had married another temperament." "if I had" is never an option, you should know that this is not a live option, so why not accept your partner's weaknesses?
  • Pray for the strengthening of your weaknesses. God is in the temperament-modification.
  • Apologize when you are wrong
No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. Remember that you don't have to be perfect to be a good partner or person. How to know a mature person is that he knows both his strengths and weaknesses and also develops a planned program for overcoming his weaknesses that includes you asking yourself are you mature enough to take full responsibility for what you have done? That also presumes you will make mistakes.

An apology reaches into another's heart and mind to remove the root of bitterness that would otherwise fester and grow until it choked your relationship.
  • Try to verbalize your love
Everyone needs love and will profit from hearing it verbalized frequently. This concerns men because women always love their men to tell them how much they love them. This is particularly true of women,  whatever their temperament. Verbalizing love is not only a necessity for holding a couple together, but an enrichment of their relationship.

Women thrive on approval, compliments, love. This is a command as well "husbands, love your wives", scriptural it has occurred four times (Eph. 5:26-30)once. Showing her your sincere love by buying her gifts in expression of your love, this is important. She will always appreciate...

Things you should expect when you connect with your spot

Get out of the rat race. After all, if you win, you will simply be the big rat. Stop running in the competition. The only person you should compete with is yourself. "how well am I performing in my leadership spot," is what you should ask yourself. You have to know that the battery does not compete with a spark plug, because the battery knows the spark plug can never be a battery, and so on. They sit in the engine in their spots and serve the engine their gift without competing

Why does negative behaviour continue?

It works. There is some kind of payoff, some type of momentary satisfaction that is derived from not changing. The reward might be financial or psychological. Some people will continue unproductive behaviour to seek approval, acceptance, praise, or love. Others continue their unacceptable actions out of pride, greed or a sense of personal fulfilment. They may oppress others with their need to always be right because they treasure being right- even if it destroys a relationship.

Adding value to other people is the work of a positive influencer

As you move up to the higher levels of influence and become an active influencer, you can begin to have a positive influence on people and add value on their lives. That's true for any positive influencer. The baby-sitter who reads to the child encourages him to love books and helps him become a lifelong learner. The teacher who puts his faith, confidence, and love on a child helps the child to feel valued and good about herself. That boss who delegates to the employees and gives them authority as well as responsibility enlarges their horizons and empowers them to become better workers and people. Even the parents who know how to give their children grace and when to, also help them to stay open and communicative. All of these people add lasting value to the lives of other people. One thing is this, we don't know what kind of influence you have on others, today as you read this article. Your actions may touch the lives of thousands of people. Perhaps you use the opportunity
