Stress can be said to be the wear and tear of life for which the adjustment by the individual concerned is necessitated. It's necessary to know that stress is inevitable, though it can be managed.
Sources of stress
You have to bear in mind that stress is everywhere though it occurs in certain circumstances. Hence these are the major sources of stress:
Life changing situation
Changing situation of life, such as death of a spouse, divorce and marital separation, marriage, retirement, pregnancy, changing job, personal injury or sickness, jail term, death of close family members, loss of job, marital reconciliation e.t.c
Everyday hassles
our everyday hassle which interfere with the ability to function efficiently or to attain goals such as traffic jam, bad weather, loud noise of crowd, quarrels. Also generally daily hassles include, health of family members, rising prices, home maintenance e.t.c
Job stress
We should know that every job or work has its own stress. For instance, a poor fit between the person and the job environment, if you have inadequate talent or training for your job, lack of interest in your job-the fit is poor and the job stress is high.
Stress in the home
This arises, such home environment as the physical and social structure of the neighborhood, financial problem, parent-child relationships. Home life is stressful, when either marital partner feels that he or she cannot talk to the other about things that are of personal interest.
