Why you should stop running in competition

You should stop running in competition because the only person you should compete with in life is yourself. What you should be concerned is how well you can perform in your leadership spot. Every human being possessed leadership potential.

The reason you suffer from jealousy is that you think that people can take your spot. And the reason you are suspicious of people is that you are afraid someone can take your place in life. The reason you compete with other people for
position in life is that you believe advancement and advantage are scarce. This is because you don't know that when you stake a claim on your spot, your gifting, you will never wonder again whether someone can take your spot. You will also understand that if anybody tries to fit in your spot, the spot will destroy them, because our Creator did not build it for them.

A human out of spot is like a virus. He infected the whole. If he is not built for it, he will disrupt the whole people, organization and its activities. It is not supposed to be there because it can make the body sick.
This disruption is an infection. When you are in the "wrong spot". The person in the wrong spot becomes disruptive.

Meanwhile,to know the right places for people, we must know their area of gifting. They may not even know it. As a servant leader you are, you help them identity their area of gifting because leaders recognize the gift in others. See also, "who is a navigator?"

When you understand leadership, you will never be jealous again. Jealous is only possible when you think someone has something that belongs to you. If you understand that you can't have what belongs another neither can another have what belongs to you, then you have no reason to be envy instead you can be confident in your gifting and your place in the world.

So, any success you have can never have a negative effect on another, neither can another's have negative effect on you. It is a good thing that as you find your gift you explore your area of gifting, then you will put aside all your jealousy.
You have to know this, all your competition, all of your fear, and all of your suspicion will be left behind.

However, when you connect with your spot, your gift comes alive—so do everyone else. Your spot will give you energy, not deplete it. But once you feel burnout is probably a sign that you are in the wrong spot. If you have to struggle struggle, then you are in the wrong spot. This is because when you are in the wrong spot you have stress and burnout as evidence.

There is always no way out if anyone tries to fit in your spot, their attempt to squeeze into your spot, the irritation will kill them, because it takes energy and pain that will cause burnout. They have to struggle and fight to be in that spot but they can't because it is not their spot.
