There is one of the greatest lessons you learned in life is never aspire to attain or be jealous of another person's position or achievement in life until you know or find out the price that person paid to get there.
One thing you should know is that all true success demands a cost, and all great leaders have a story! The price of greatness is the greatness of the price. Leadership comes at a cost and many people aspire to it but unfortunately not all will pay the price to obtain it. If you do, many want to take your position or at least to be your deputies, but they may not know or be willing to pay the price you paid.
If you are the General Overseer of an organization or other top positions others fight to get—many line up to take your place, but they do not know what you went through to get there. They do not know about the hassles you had and the depression you endured along the way. See also, "Two ways you can escape challenges"
They do not know you might have had to sell your belongings or sleep in a car or give your house as to pay for training or supplies. They do not know what it costs you to get through, graduate from school and how much you still pay school bills. No one knows how many hours you had to practice and how many inquiries you suffered.
People get attracted to your position, they want to covet your position without realizing how long it took you and sacrifices you made to get there. Who knows about the discrimination and discouragement you suffered as a woman to get there?
Never follow and live for what a man is not willing to die for. Leaders are known not by medals on their chests but by the scars on their backs.
