The gods are blind

It was a sunny day, "the gods are blind," Titi mocked.
"Rubby, Rubby!" Titi called out. "this is not ordinary!" Rubby said. It wasn't easy for Rubby to smuggle herself out of the gate due to her fat body.

"come and hear what am hearing, this is really heartbreaking," Titi said.
"just because you noticed everything is costly in the market, is that why you called me out here? I think your brain has entered voice mail, that you now lack understanding, you don't
understand 'the sign again'," she said.

"The sign of what," Titi asked ignorantly.
"hmm, you mean you have not heard that there is Inflation, no recession, no there is poverty influenza in the country now, it's contagious." "I said it earlier and I will still continue to say it, the gods are blind," said Titi.

Titi further explained how the gods went blind, by allowing the people suffer in anguish and gnashing of teeth. "Who are really this gods?" Rubby asked. "The ancestors, gods of our land, replica of our forefathers. Why have they decided to leave us to suffer like this in the evil arms and torture of our enemies who disguised themselves as leaders in our land?

Nigeria is now a zoo, where anybody can behave anyhow. Without recognizing or acknowledging the poor masses. They don't see to the affairs and well-being of the masses they claimed to be leading, they indirectly mislead.

The worst is that the top government officials don't give accolades to the potential and hardworking civilians- the youth. In spite of the fact that there are no job opportunities- unemployment has been the order of the day. Oh, masses, how would poor masses survive in the arms of this deadly politicians?

Which one do I talk, which one do I leave? Instead of leadership, it's politics, politics even in government, politics in service. Politicians has taken the name and place of "true leaders"," said Titi.

Talking of corruption, that's the order of the day, godfatherism/favouritism has taken over meritocracy. I reserve this position for my great grand mother's sister's daughter." she paused and continued, "the gods are blind," she summarized.

It's all propaganda. During campaigns, they mock themselves thinking they are deceiving the masses. They gave sweet and melodious manifesto, once they win election, their promises vanished in the thin air. Greedy politicians, green snakes on a green grass.

Nigeria, a country, a zoo. With those qualities such as poverty, inequality, unemployment, substandard education, stability is very far from Nigeria, still very far from under development. As a country, Nigeria grow up, wake up from your slumber, stop being rebel to yourself, stop terrorizing your own.

This is not the wish of our progenitors for us, therefore we must secure the benefits of freedom for ourselves and our posterity," Titi stooped down, nodded her head and bowed in thought.
