The Weeping Lecturer

In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first

Purpose of forgiveness

Forgiveness does not beat the offending party over the head with their offense trying to make them feel guilty. It does not try to destroy the reputation of the offending party or get revenge by sharing the transgression with others.

Forgiveness does not wallow in the misery of the conflict. It gets up and moves on with life. It does not rip off the scabs to see if the offense is healing because this only prolongs the hurt. Forgiveness has the courage to work through problems rather than ignoring
them or pretending they are not there.

Purpose of forgiveness
The act of forgiveness restores and reconciles broken relationships. What happens if one of the parties does not want to restore the relationship? Does forgiveness still take place? That is like asking, the chicken or the hen which comes first? Which comes first, forgiveness then repentance or repentance then forgiveness?
Chicken comes first then egg. Meanwhile, forgiveness first, repentance follows.

The joy of forgiveness comes when you repent and turn from your sin. We can forgive others their offenses, but we both may not experience the joy of restoration and reconciliation until repentance of the offender takes place.

However, sometimes they do not repent, and we are left with a true but hollow forgiveness. That's a painful experience I tell you. When you forgive someone and he or she does not repent it hurts.

Importance of having integrity in relationships

Integrity is the foundation no doubt it's for loving and enduring relationships. It takes humility to live by principles of integrity. If you were loving person you would be proud of yourself for living in integrity. Integrity sustains and strengthens intimacy in relationships. With integrity in relationships it means no lie. It also means there is no hidden agenda. It also means you can be trusted and there is reliability both your words and actions must be true.

Why does negative behaviour continue?

It works. There is some kind of payoff, some type of momentary satisfaction that is derived from not changing. The reward might be financial or psychological. Some people will continue unproductive behaviour to seek approval, acceptance, praise, or love. Others continue their unacceptable actions out of pride, greed or a sense of personal fulfilment. They may oppress others with their need to always be right because they treasure being right- even if it destroys a relationship.

Reasons why opposites Attract each other

Is there anything opposite than male and female? Yet they still attract each other after so many decades. In fact, the future of the race is dependent on such attraction. But unfortunately they fail to realize that their physical differences are only symbolic of the many other differences in their nature, the most significant of which are " temperaments ". Good to know, a negative is never attracted to another negative and positives repel each other in any field.
