In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first
It is better to start by saying that giving follows the law of sowing. Just like a farmer who sows seed into the soil. In due time the seeds blossom, produce fruit, and feed many which includes the farmer. In same vein, we can't reap until we sow just like the farmer, nor will we experience the joy of giving until we do it.
The seed must have time to germinate. We can't dig up these every other day to see how they are growing. We may not see immediate
results from our giving but it's assuredly that over time they will bear fruit. They more seeds we sow the more fruit will be produced. The more we develop the habit of giving, the more others will be helped. Meanwhile, as our wealth increases, so does our ability to help people. As we learn to give, we receive more than financial dividends from our gifts.
However, no one can force us to give. It has to come from a sincere desire to help others as we have been helped. Know this—he that does good to another does good also to himself, not only in he consequence, but in the very act. For the consciousness of well-doing is in itself ample reward.
The greatest pleasure known is to do a good action by stealth, and have it found out by accident.
