In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first
Your purpose is your green card. Without purpose your future and success are threatened. Just like the Chinese proverb that says "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step" though this is absolutely true but the posing question is, "Do you have a destination for your journey? Where do you want to go in your journey?" This question is what you must not fail to answer before you can talk of motivation to achieve your purpose.
Now what's it you would like to spend
your time on? How do you envision your future? Do you have any goals or plans? This particular saying is still true "If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time" It's also important to have a map—see also "how to help others map out their actions" to have direction, to have goals and objectives. See also, "Realist, Dreamer and Achiever". You must be focused—"focus is all you need to succeed"
Lost yesterday, somewhere between sunrise and sunset, two golden hours, and each set with diamond minutes. No reward is offered, for they are gone forever—quite unfortunate.
Any walk without destination is equivalent to the walk of a mad man. With positive mind, your thoughts are very close to your success when you "work it out" without goals and a sense of direction we throw away time, energy, and money. See "time waits for nobody" time slips away, and we grow older without our dreams being fulfilled. Imagine sitting in a rocking chair in a retirement centre talking with others who are advanced in years. Can you hear the conversation, "I wish I would have done that when I was younger." "I wish I had taken time to enjoy such and such." I wish I could go back and start over." All are wishes. It is then that you would realize that you can't take back the hand of the clock. Because time wasted is opportunity gone and untapped gift becomes unrealized potentials that cost so many their lives, those whose lives are designed to depend on your gift to survive.
But the opportunity was given to them early in their young age but perhaps they were busy chasing shadow, or they were unable to identify with their call, their gift, their potential, their purpose in life. They left it untapped and remained like that fig tree which refused to bear fruit. The scripture tells us that our Saviour cut it off, because it's life was useless, it was not fruitful, same is applicable to any of us today who refuses to utilize their gift, it is better for such person to be cut off. See also "why a lot of people do not end well" This means that no creature of our Creator was meant to be dormant. It is assuredly that once we are able to identify and refine our gift, we would be motivated to utilize it effectively and impact in lives.
Once we have identified our purpose, we will derive motivation from it. You lack motivation in doing that work which you are doing now because you couldn't find your main purpose in life. "Finding our purpose gives us motivation".
