Productive or futile years?

How long do you think you will live? Anyway that's not a question meant for you. Of course no one knows for sure how long they will live. But always have it in mind that there is no time to waste. You only have to focus on the limited and estimated time you have to do all the things you would like to accomplish. It primarily deals with the productive years ahead of you. So long as there is life in you, you have to think productive and be optimistic about your future.

Now, what would you like to experience? What would you like to learn or be part of in the days ahead? Is there something you would like to shape or change before you run out of time? Will there be something you leave behind that will be better than what you found? All these are self questions and once you are able to ask yourself and focus on them, it will help direct you to your designated destination.

Age is never a barrier, regardless of your age, you can do more than you think. You may have a desire to go back to school but think you are too old. You may see a need to retrain for a new vocation but think it would take too much time. You may want to move to a new area of the country but think you can't afford it. You may desire to change in a number of ways but think it will take too much energy. 

You may long to try something different but you are afraid. If we were to be a really great people, we must strive in good faith to play a great part in the world. We cannot avoid meeting great issues. All that can determine for ourselves is whether we shall meet then well or ill.

You will never find time for anything. If you want time you must make it. Let's assume you want to go to school but you think age isn't your side, you see that as a barrier. Especially if you have to work during the day, go to school at night, and study on the weekends? Do you think you are too old for that?

A good question now is, how old are you right now? And another question is if you don't go to school how old will you be in next four or five years and how old will you be in next four years or thereabouts if you do go to school? Any which way you will still be same four years older. Do you want to be four years older with an education or four years older without education? You have to choose to live your years productive not unproductive. Same is applicable in all ramification of life, anything you want to do in life, it all depends on your decision. It is the real decision that determines your productive or futile years.
