Looking at your life today, what do you see concerning yourself? Do you just see your inadequacies, inabilities and disabilities or are you overwhelmed and clouded with the picture of hopelessness, frustration, disappointments? What do you see? You don't carry a defective sight that beholds life wrongly and expect to be heading in the right direction. You can't be focused only on your problems or mountains and hope to succeed beyond such limitations.
In any case, all these limitations or problems with which you are beset today, do not affect what our Creator intends to do for, in, and through you. This is true because if you can see through or beyond your apparent limiting circumstance. If you begin to see and believe in what in our Creator is saying concerning you—He does bless, and can raise anybody according to purpose. Stop looking at your imperfections, start looking at our Creator's intention for you.
Remember you are not what people say you are. You are not any description you have been given. You are far more than that. In fact, you are neither what series of life's events or experiences call you, nor are you what you call yourself based on past mistakes and failures. You are a voice in this generation. Your presence speaks of something remarkable. You really need time with yourself and your Creator to rediscover yourself. It's only then, when you have seen and heard rightly as to who you really are, then and only then, will your star begin to shine brighter in skies for all to see.
Bear it in mind that the dormant picture in your mind today is the likely future you will met tomorrow. See also, "your thoughts","be positive about yourself."
Start to cherish your dreams and your visions as if they are the children of your soul. Your dreams may sometimes require a change of association. Ask yourself this question, Where are you going to? You must confront this question. The question is all about vision and leadership. Your influence or leadership position may soon attend relevant and fellowship if this question is not properly answered.
People want to know where you are taking them to. What you need is vision and direction for achievement, success and significance. You must therefore set yourself in such a position and attitude where you can begin to see clearly. People will hardly support you or your work when they can't make out where you are going. Your guiding, guarding and governing vision without which life loses its potency and meaning.
Set your goals, purse them, be focused, mind your direction and know your destination, your success is sure.
