The Weeping Lecturer

In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first

The Confused Prince and His Story

Prince Avril was thinking of what to do. He would have loved to go with her, if not that it was impossible. He kept wandering and asking himself numerous questions unanswered.

Why do I have sentiments for Susana?

Do I say I love her because she is beautiful?

What about others who are more beautiful          than she is?

Do I say I love her because she is humble,               gentle and jovial?

Is she the only one who possessed such                   qualities?

Do I say I love her due to the fact that she is           very good and kind to me?

Is she the only girl who is good and kind to           me?

Serious questions arose with no obvious answer

Could it be that I love her because she knows        my feelings?

Can't I find another girl who will be able to            detect my feelings?

What more do I say?

In fact, I love her, this, of course I know.

I really don't know why I love her.

The more I think for why I love her the more I fall in love with her.

He further showed his apprehension. "Now, that she is going to enter into the university, will she remain untainted or be carried away by campus life? Read more stories "The Naughtiest Virgin" that Susana and I are made for each other is unquestionable. She is the only girl who had stolen my heart. Will she follow another and forget me?" Prince Avril queried himself nervously.

This is because he had heard some terrible stories about life in the university.  The university is a wild world, a place for good and evil people. Thoughts of her occupied his mind and gave him sleepless night. He was in a state of semi-hallucination when his father came and told him to get prepared for tomorrow. He had made available the essential things for his departure.

Early in the morning, Prince Avril had a shower and had an enjoyable breakfast. He did everything quickly for him not to miss his flight. Then, his father saw him off to the airport.

Susana tried as she could to forget about him and concentrate on her education so as to achieve her life long ambition. She was already in the university having had her matriculation.  She had chosen to read painting and visual art. She went for this course because becoming an artist had been her childhood dream. Susana faced her studies squarely and forbade herself from loving anybody else.

Her intrinsic beauty intoxicated people; any man who saw her would always like to give her a second look. She was a perfect beauty. Campus life had started and she must not be so naive to people's notice. Many boys sought her friendship, but she would turn down their request.

There came a final-year student whose name was Benny, who had spoilt lots of girls and dumped them like a filthy rag when he was done with them. Benny was very naughty and nasty . He had been disturbing Susana for quite some time. He was so notorious that there was nobody on the campus who didn't know him as a bad boy.

So, Susana wanted to get rid of him in her way. Benny always gathered momentum each time he saw her. He shamelessly persisted in his advances towards her. He claimed to have been inspired by Susana, without knowing that Susana knew it was a trick to get her for his amorous intention. She couldn't fall for him, despite his sweet tongue and sugar-coated mouth.

Moral Lessons

It is good to live a reserved lifestyle which not only attract you praise but also influence lives positively.

It is good to be faithful to the one who we love and cherish so much.

Things you should expect when you connect with your spot

Get out of the rat race. After all, if you win, you will simply be the big rat. Stop running in the competition. The only person you should compete with is yourself. "how well am I performing in my leadership spot," is what you should ask yourself. You have to know that the battery does not compete with a spark plug, because the battery knows the spark plug can never be a battery, and so on. They sit in the engine in their spots and serve the engine their gift without competing

Why does negative behaviour continue?

It works. There is some kind of payoff, some type of momentary satisfaction that is derived from not changing. The reward might be financial or psychological. Some people will continue unproductive behaviour to seek approval, acceptance, praise, or love. Others continue their unacceptable actions out of pride, greed or a sense of personal fulfilment. They may oppress others with their need to always be right because they treasure being right- even if it destroys a relationship.

Adding value to other people is the work of a positive influencer

As you move up to the higher levels of influence and become an active influencer, you can begin to have a positive influence on people and add value on their lives. That's true for any positive influencer. The baby-sitter who reads to the child encourages him to love books and helps him become a lifelong learner. The teacher who puts his faith, confidence, and love on a child helps the child to feel valued and good about herself. That boss who delegates to the employees and gives them authority as well as responsibility enlarges their horizons and empowers them to become better workers and people. Even the parents who know how to give their children grace and when to, also help them to stay open and communicative. All of these people add lasting value to the lives of other people. One thing is this, we don't know what kind of influence you have on others, today as you read this article. Your actions may touch the lives of thousands of people. Perhaps you use the opportunity
