Have you ever thought about where patience comes from? It comes from trouble. Patience isn't needed when everything is working well and you are getting your way. Patience only increases when it's being exercised. As you persevere through these days of feeling greatness, you will develop more patience because you are working through problems and trials. Patience is an excellent by-product of the process.
Know this, that one moment of impatience may ruin a whole life.
Faith
We all are living by faith. It's what we put our faith in that determines our health and happiness. By faith we drive down the highway expecting others to obey the traffic laws. By faith we eat at restaurants without worrying about being poisoned. You should know also that it is by faith that we trust in God through His son, Jesus. The more we exercise faith, the stronger it becomes in our lives. The more we trust God by faith, the easier it is to trust Him even when we don't understand why or what He is doing.
However, how are you doing in the faith department?
It is good to know this—faith makes the uplook good, the outlook bright, the inlook favourable, and the future glorious indeed.
Confidence
Confidence arises out of understanding. Having conviction, a person must study the facts and get all the information he or she can or desired. It's said that the more knowledge, the greater the confidence and conviction. And in human relationships, it's important to get all the information before making any conclusions or judgements. This helps clear up the misunderstandings and conflicts.
Yes, the same is true spiritually, the more information and fact you know about our Creator, then the stronger your understanding and trust for His will for your life.
One thing we don't understand is this—faith in Him does not make troubles disappear; instead it makes troubles appear less fearsome because it puts them in the right perception.
