How domestic violence starts

Domestic violence is the abuse of women's rights and privileges in their homes by their husbands or any like. This is a situation where the views of women are not regarded and men prefer being brutish, treating their wives like dogs worst than slaves.

Funnily, no country is absent in the count when it comes to domestic abuse but the difference is that the western world are sensitized more on this. And the law which restricts women's right against abuse are punishable to those who violate the law. This serves as a deterrent any helps tuned down the volume of domestic violence.  Therefore the practice is at its very low degree unlike Africa where it has become a daily practice and now a cankerworm that has eaten deep into the image or fabric of Africa. The virus is worst than cervical cancer.

It works. There is some kind of payoff, some type of momentary satisfaction that is derived from not changing. The reward might be financial or psychological. Some people will continue unproductive behaviour to seek approval, acceptance, praise, or love. Others continue their unacceptable actions out of pride, greed or a sense of personal fulfilment. They may oppress others with their need to always be right because they treasure being right- even if it destroys a relationship.
