6 Ways To Discover Your Gift#
1. Your gift is fun:#
Whenever you discover something unique or hobby that you do and whenever you do it, you derive joy from doing it and it becomes fun to you. It lifts your soul and inspirits you. What you should know is that it is your gift.
2. You enjoy it:#
What is that thing you do and you are elated to do it even more? You feel satisfied and filled like it is your food. People try to discourage and talk you out if it but you persistently do it. Don't you see it is something special in you that you need to share with others. Offering your gift to the world is the best that can happen to everyone.
3. You can do it all day:#
You can do it all day and still do it perfectly. You never get tired of doing it. It inspires you and instigates energy to do more. That is your gift. What you have to do is to develop it and design it to be useful to mankind.
4. People can pay you to do what you like to do:#
You offer it and after people pay you for doing what makes you happy, for doing what you enjoy doing and doing it all day. You get paid for your gift. That act is not what you should hoard or take unserious because the world is in need of it. And you need to be manifesting it because it is like the life you have, wheneven you are not doing it you feel like something has left or gone out of you. Know that your life is incomplete without that gift and the moment you fail to give it to others, you become spiritually dead.
5. It is your passion:#
It is a powerful and compelling emotion, that feeling of love you have doing it whenever you are offering it to others. That which you do having undeniable strong feeling of intense enthusiasm, the attraction and desire to do it more and more and never get exhausted doing it.
6. You could do it without pay:#
Something you must not fail to understand is that you don't place your head or count on the dollars you will get when you serve your gift to others. It shouldn't be a priority. All you need to do is serve your gift, that should be your major concern. And it is very good to see people serve their gift without asking for money. That is when you see people devoting their time to do that which is their passion without asking for money and by doing that you will discover more of your gift and be perfect in doing it.
For me leadership is passion, but it must also be balanced by the sensitivity and the desire to see people's lives healed, improved and developed. That is the compassion component.
Dream no small dream because nothing is impossible. Servant leadership is self-fulfilling, and a servant leader feels fulfilled in what he is doing. And everything comes back to him as a harvest. How do you become a leader by serving? it is quite simple! You have to know that you have to serve something to the world. What do you serve? You serve your gift. When you find your gift and you serve it to the world, you become great.
Our Lord said it, that as you serve your gift because you are serving yourself to the world, greatness happens to you. Don't think that having others serve you makes you great or is the evidence of greatness, leadership has more to do with releasing yourself to the world than employing others but it has to be you deploying yourself.
It is good you know that whatever gift you have, it is not for you to keep, but it is for you to give to the world. Our creator gave it to you, it is good you pass it on. Don't hoard your gift. If you want to become great you first have to serve your gift without charge or compensation. Volunteer your service, at the long run it will sure start paying without stress or putting pressure on people to pay.
