The Weeping Lecturer

In the morning, the heavens opened and it began to rain. Bella grabbed her umbrella to get to school, as she walked out of the hostel the first

How to win others your side

Originality matters.
Don't be imitation. Stop imitating.  Always be you. This is the age where people are conditioned to look out for ‘perfect’, yet they walk and live on others' footprint. The best is self love, when you love yourself you will have the courage to be yourself. Endeavour to be you, be real and not fake things about yourself to please others or make them feel awe and or to respect you. Just because you think it is the "in thing" you want to fit into society’s image. Everyone is doing, you don't want to stand alone. All this thoughts won't take you anywhere.

The problem we have is imitation and living on the footprint set by others. Authenticity is what makes you original and different from others and their usual way of doing things. Be sincere, appreciate who and whatever you are and the Almighty will open doors for you which you never imagined before. He who doesn't know his left and right has no place. Because he is neither here not there. Living down to the earth attracts many to seek counsel from you.
When you do things, join the queue because others do, you only ends small.

People who standout are always outstanding, only their integrity designs their personality and makes all their activities and actions unique giving them charismatic ends.

Don't ever imagine being another person simply because he is famous or more beautiful, handsome or more successful.  That's your mere imagination it is not true.  See also, "what you believe makes you," we are our thoughts and our thoughts end up taking us far or near in life. Consider this statement, "think big and become bigger, think small and become smaller" Remember everyone is born a winner.  You have all it takes to be great person in life.

What relieve us of our glory here on earth:

Poor gift manifestation: this is the major dream killer. You can achieve your dreams when you don't or you can't or you have not manifested your gift. See also,  "dream killers and destiny achievers"

Observing solitude helps us to put our mind together. To calculate and nurture productive ideas. To be yourself and know your destination gives you the more confidence you need. The quieter you become, you gather momentum, confidence whispers, insecurity roars; fear is a deadly killer of confidence. Confident people are not attention seekers, they don't look out for who to love and appreciate or applaud them for their deeds. They are focused. Right frame minded people. Don't bother about what people say about them, how people feel about them, how people see their actions. Confident people are not ready to read your thoughts about them. They are always there to do the right thing and serve others their gifts. They always thrive to fulfilling their purpose.

The time you use to make people notice you or seek for others accolades is the much time you need to act fast and produce footprint that will guide others. Then you will see how your mere presence speaks loud enough for the world to see your glory. It is only the insecure ones that are the loudest, drawing most attention to themselves. Why? Because their power is only in their tongues and voices not in actions. Talk less and act more. Let your success speak for you.

Things you should expect when you connect with your spot

Get out of the rat race. After all, if you win, you will simply be the big rat. Stop running in the competition. The only person you should compete with is yourself. "how well am I performing in my leadership spot," is what you should ask yourself. You have to know that the battery does not compete with a spark plug, because the battery knows the spark plug can never be a battery, and so on. They sit in the engine in their spots and serve the engine their gift without competing

Why does negative behaviour continue?

It works. There is some kind of payoff, some type of momentary satisfaction that is derived from not changing. The reward might be financial or psychological. Some people will continue unproductive behaviour to seek approval, acceptance, praise, or love. Others continue their unacceptable actions out of pride, greed or a sense of personal fulfilment. They may oppress others with their need to always be right because they treasure being right- even if it destroys a relationship.

Adding value to other people is the work of a positive influencer

As you move up to the higher levels of influence and become an active influencer, you can begin to have a positive influence on people and add value on their lives. That's true for any positive influencer. The baby-sitter who reads to the child encourages him to love books and helps him become a lifelong learner. The teacher who puts his faith, confidence, and love on a child helps the child to feel valued and good about herself. That boss who delegates to the employees and gives them authority as well as responsibility enlarges their horizons and empowers them to become better workers and people. Even the parents who know how to give their children grace and when to, also help them to stay open and communicative. All of these people add lasting value to the lives of other people. One thing is this, we don't know what kind of influence you have on others, today as you read this article. Your actions may touch the lives of thousands of people. Perhaps you use the opportunity
